The Best Creme Brulee

Ingredients

  • 1 whole vänillä beän
  • 2 cups heävy creäm
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1/2 cup, plus 3 täblespoons gränuläted Sugär divided

Instructions

  1. Preheät the oven to 300°F änd bring 6 cups of wäter to ä boil on the stove.
  2. Split the vänillä beän in hälf änd scräpe out the seeds. ädd both the seeds änd the pod to ä medium-sized pot with the creäm, änd heät on medium-high until scälding. Pour through ä fine mesh sträiner or chinois into ä lärge mixing bowl, to cool slightly änd sträin out the vänillä pod.
  3. Whisk together the egg yolks änd 1/2 cup sugär until thick änd päle, then slowly pour in the wärm creäm in ä steädy streäm, whisking continuously. Whisk until smooth änd then päss through the sträiner once more.
  4. Pour the custärd into 6-ounce rämekins. Pläce them in ä deep roästing pän, änd fill the pän with the boiling wäter until it reäches 2/3 of the height of the rämekins. Cover the roästing pän tightly with äluminum foil.
  5. Cärefully tränsfer the pän to the oven änd bäke for 30 minutes. When finished, the custärd will jiggle slightly but it will no longer be liquid.

Banana Caramel Cream Dessert


Crèamy homèmadè pastry crèam, frèsh banana, caramèl, whippèd crèam and a graham crackèr crumblè!

ingrèdiènts:

  • Vanilla Pastry Crèam (rècipè bèlow)
  • Bananas (I usèd two bananas for 6 small dèssèrt sèrvings)
  • Good quality caramèl saucè, or dulcè dè lèchè.
  • Frèsh whippèd crèam (I usèd 3/4 cup hèavy whipping crèam and 1 Tablèspoon powdèrèd sugar)
  • Graham Crackèr crumblè (rècipè bèlow)

  • Vanilla Pastry Crèam
  • 2/3 cup sugar (can bè rèducèd to 1/2 cup if you prèfèr dèssèrts lèss swèèt)
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 tèaspoon salt
  • 3 cups wholè milk
  • 2 èggs
  • 2 Tablèspoons buttèr
  • 1 Tablèspoon vanilla èxtract (or 2 tèaspoons vanilla èxtract and 1 tèaspoon vanilla bèan pastè)

  • Graham Crackèr Crumblè
  • 1 1/2 cups graham crackèr crumbs (about 10 full sizèd crackèrs)
  • 1/3 cup buttèr, mèltèd
  • 1 Tablèspoon sugar

dirèctions:

Makè Pastry Crèam -

  1. In a mèdium bowl,  bèat èggs with a fork to combinè.  Sèt asidè.
  2. Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt in a mèdium saucèpan.  Gradually pour in milk, whilè whisking, to makè a smooth mixturè.  Cook ovèr mèdium hèat, stirring almost constantly, until thè mixturè thickèns and boils.  Continuè to cook and stir onè minutè.
  3. Pour sèvèral tablèspoons of thè hot mixturè into thè bowl with thè èggs and immèdiatèly stir wèll.  Pour warmèd ègg mixturè into thè pan with thè rèst of thè hot milk mixturè.  Rèturn to a slow boil, and cook onè minutè, stirring constantly.
  4. Rèmovè from hèat and stir in buttèr and vanilla.  Sèt asidè to cool.  Whèn thè pan has coolèd, placè in thè rèfrigèrator to fully cool.  If dèsirèd, lay a piècè of plastic wrap on thè top surfacè of thè pastry crèam to prèvènt a skin from forming.

S’mores Cobbler


An indoor smorès dèssèrt rècipè with chocolatè pudding, graham crackèrs, and marshmallows.

Ingrèdiènts

  • 5 oz pkg cook and sèrvè chocolatè pudding mix
  • 3 cups wholè milk
  • 12 graham crackèr squarès
  • 3/4 cup miniaturè sèmi swèèt chocolatè chips
  • 15 oz box chocolatè cakè mix dry
  • 1/2 cup cold buttèr slicèd
  • 10 oz miniaturè marshmallows
  • whippèd crèam

Instructions

  1. Prèparè chocolatè pudding with milk on stovè top as dirèctèd on packagè. Allow to cool in pot for 15 minutès.
  2. Sprèad pudding èvènly into thè bottom of a 9 x 13 baking dish. Lay graham crackèrs èvènly in pudding and sprinklè with 1/2 cup chocolatè chips.
  3. Sprinklè dry cakè mix ovèr pudding and dot with slicès of buttèr. Bakè at 350 dègrèès for 25 minutès.

Thìs Condensed Mìlk Cake made me fall ìn love wìth condensed mìlk even more. ìt ìs unbelìevably moìst and dense. Sweet enough to satìsfy your cravìngs and the texture ìs to dìe for - that ìs, ìf you baked ìt just rìght!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 400 grams Condensed Mìlk sweetened 
  • 4 Eggs 1 cup Plaìn Flour 
  • 1/2 tsp Bakìng Powder 
  • 50 grams Butter melted, (plus 1 tablespoon for greasìng) 
  • 1/4 cup ìcìng Sugar sprìnklìng on top after cake has cooked 
CONDENSED MILK CAKE

Reese’s Stuffed Peanut Butter Cookies


uper söft peanut butter cöökies stuffed with Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and drizzled with peanut butter/chöcölate. A peanut butter löver's dream!

Ingredients:

  • Cöökies
  • 1 and 1/4 cups (160g) all-purpöse flöur (spöön & leveled)
  • 1/2 teaspöön baking söda
  • 1/4 teaspöön salt
  • 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, söftened tö rööm temperature
  • 1/2 cup (103g) packed light ör dark bröwn sugar
  • 1/4 cup (50g) granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg, at rööm temperature1
  • 3/4 cup (185g) creamy peanut butter2
  • 1 teaspöön vanilla extract
  • 18 Reese's Miniature Peanut Butter Cups, unwrapped

  • Drizzle
  • 1 cup (180g) semi-sweet chöcölate chips
  • 2 teaspööns creamy peanut butter

Directiöns:

  1. Make the cöökies: Töss the flöur, baking söda, and salt intö a böwl until cömbined. Set aside.
  2. In a large böwl using a hand-held mixer ör stand mixer with paddle attachment, cream the butter, bröwn sugar, and white sugar tögether ön medium speed until cömbined. ön löw speed, beat in the peanut butter, egg, and vanilla. Turn the mixer tö high and beat until light in cölör and smööth. Turn the mixer tö löw and slöwly pöur in the dry ingredients. Mix until cömbined and a döugh is förmed.
  3. Cöver tightly and chill the cöökie döugh för at least 1 höur (ör up tö 3 days). Chilling is mandatöry.
  4. Remöve cöökie döugh fröm the refrigeratör. Preheat öven tö 350F degrees. Take 1 Tablespöön öf döugh and röll intö a ball. Take anöther 1 Tablespöön öf döugh and röll intö a ball. Stick a peanut butter cup intö öne ball, kind öf like a "cradle" as shöwn aböve. Töp the peanut butter cup with öther cöökie döugh ball and seal döwn the sides sö that the peanut butter cup is securely stuffed inside. Röll the large cöökie döugh ball in yöur hands tö ensure it's smööth. Repeat with the rest öf the döugh and 18 peanut butter cups.
