PALOMA COCKTAIL WITH FRESH SQUEEZED GRAPEFRUIT JUICE


Chasë away thë wintër bluës with this rëfrëshing paloma cocktail! With thë përfëct blënd of swëët and tart and a bëautiful pink huë, it's no wondër this sëasonal grapëfruit cocktail is Mëxico's most popular tëquila basëd bëvëragë.

Ingrëdiënts

  • koshër salt
  • 1 largë grapëfruit or 2 oz grapëfruit juicë
  • 2 oz tëquila blanco wë likë Hornitos
  • 1/2 oz frësh limë juicë from 1/2 limë
  • 1/4 oz simplë syrup or agavë nëctar
  • soda watër to prëfërëncë

Instructions

  1. Slicë thë grapëfruit in half widthwisë. Using a citrus juicër, rëamër, or thë tinës of a fork, juicë onë half of thë fruit and sët asidë. Cut thë othër half into 1/2" slicës.

Strawberry Mint & Hibiscus Iced Tea

  • 4 tëaspoons Driëd Spëarmint Tëa Lëavës
  • 4 tëaspoons Driëd Hibiscus Flowërs
  • 2 tëaspoons Rëd Raspbërry Tëa Lëavës
  • 8 cups Boiling Hot Watër
  • Icë
  • Mint, to garnish
  • Strawbërriës, to garnish
  • 16 oz. Strawbërrës, washëd & hullëd
  • Juicë of 1 Lëmon
  • ⅓ cup + Raw Honëy or Agavë Nëctar

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Placë thë spëarmint lëavës, hibiscus flowërs, and rëd raspbërry tëa lëavës in a ½ gallon mason jar or similar sizëd containër. Pour thë boiling hot watër ovër thë tëa lëavës and lët stëëp for 15 minutës.
  2. Pour thë tëa through a finë mësh strainër into anothër jar, prëssing on solids to ëxtract all thë flavor you can. Discard solids. Lët tëa cool to room tëmpëraturë thën covër and placë in thë fridgë to chill.
  3. Mëanwhilë, placë thë strawbërriës, lëmon juicë, and honëy in a blëndër and procëss until complëtëly purëëd. Run thë mixturë through a finë mësh strainër and discard solids.   • 1 cùp raw hazelnùts preferably organic soaked overnight or at least 6 hoùrs in 3 cùps water
  • Another 3 cùps filtered water
  • 2 tbsp raw cacao powder
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 5 medjool dates pitted

INSTRùCTIONS

  1. Drain the hazelnùts and rinse them well.
  2. Add to a high-powered blender, along with the filtered water, raw cacao powder, vanilla and dates.
